Simon started with a bassinet, then went to a playpen bassinet and now a real crib! We got the crib from friends at church, the mattress for free on Kijiji, and the funky sheet from our friend in Indonesia. I love free stuff!!
And I finished this painting the night Simon was born. fun fun:)

Very nice! I like the painting as a horizontal piece, too. For some reason I thought it was meant the other direction. Either way. Good work on making art and making a cute kid. :) And getting oodles of free stuff.
i thought it was going to be vertical too but as soon as I took down the previous paintings that didn't match, I knew it was supposed to be there!
The crib looks great in the little dining room. You even have room for 1/2 of the table. You have made it very cozy and the painting looks awesome there too! Simon looks like he loves his new bed!
I was gonna say " Is that a crib in the kitchen or a fridge in the baby's room?" Either way it made me chuckle and how cute ! Congrats on your baby in a crib..moving on up in the world..hope you are well.!
